O'Neill Defender 3mm Split Toe Boots have been designed as O'Neills mid-range surf bootie that works for the average surfer. Fitted out with UltraFlex DS Neoprene, these booties have good flexibility.
That being said, a big advantage of slightly stiffer neoprene is that it's typically more durable than super-supple flexible styles. In any case, UltraFlex DS neoprene isn't called that for nothing and does stretch well enough that it won't feel like it's restricting your movement.
